The Role:
The People Coordinator is a hands-on HR generalist role, providing crucial operational and administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You'll be the go-to person for managers and employees, handling everything from onboarding, HR advice, payroll and data-driven reporting to ensure our teams are brilliantly supported.
Key deliverables are:
- HR Generalist Support: Provide excellent HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, helping them lead their teams brilliantly. You'll handle key people activities, from probations to exit interviews, ensuring employees we're compliant in our processes.
- Payroll Lead: You'll be the central point for payroll, responsible for inputting amendments, conducting thorough checks, and managing the monthly payroll process. You'll be the key contact for the external payroll provider and internal stakeholders.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Take charge of the entire employee lifecycle, from end-to-end administration to driving efficiencies and improvements. This includes managing people-related issues like absence and performance, and supporting flexible working requests.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Supporting the Recruitment Partner, you'll deliver onboarding activities, including coordinating induction plans and leading the new starter buddy program. You'll also support the recruitment process by drafting offer paperwork and liaising with agencies for senior and specialist vacancies when needed.
- People Metrics & Projects: With the People Operations Manager, you'll analyse employee data to create quarterly People Metrics reports, monitor absence and sickness levels, and support to the performance review process. You will also support broader People team initiatives and update policies as required.
What we're looking for in you:
- Experience & Knowledge: Ideally you have previous experience as a People Assistant or HR Specialist, providing excellent HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. You possess a good understanding of employment law and HR processes, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: With your responsibilities as the payroll lead, a sharp eye for detail is crucial. You have strong administrative and organisational skills that ensure all documentation and data are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communication & Collaboration: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different personalities and learning needs. You are also a strong administrator, organiser, and collaborator.
- Resilience & Problem-Solving: You are a true 'starter-finisher', proactive and accountable in your work. You can handle pressure and adapt to change, using your support networks to meet tight deadlines. You're a creative problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Team Player: You have a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for working as part of a team, actively seeking ways to contribute to a collaborative environment!

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
