The Role:

The Product Engineer - Internal Systems at Formula E is a pivotal role managing and developing our eco-system technology that connects the organisation with our teams, suppliers and partners.. This involves handling a variety of high-profile platforms like portals, ticketing, and accreditation systems, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and fully integrated.

• Technical Strategy & Collaboration: You will work closely with various internal teams - such as Marketing and Operations—to understand their needs and contribute to the overall technical roadmap. You'll play a key role in identifying and implementing new opportunities to improve and innovate these platforms to meet business goals.
• Back-End Development & Security: You'll need to maintain the back-end infrastructure of all eco-facing systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. A crucial part of this is ensuring the highest level of security and compliance, including managing user authentication and access controls.
• System Management & Integration:You'll be responsible for the continuous development, maintenance, and seamless integration of all eco-system platforms. This includes acting as the main point of contact for external suppliers and making sure their services work perfectly with Formula E's systems.

What we're looking for in you:

• Technical Acumen:This role requires a strong foundation in back-end development and system management. You will need proven experience as a Product or Software Engineer and deep understanding of how to build, maintain and secure complex systems .
• Integration & Supplier Management: Ability to drive technical integration, having hands-on technical skills and confident being the primary point of contact for external suppliers, understanding their APIs, data structures and implementation requirements.
• Communication & Collaboration: Able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical colleagues, Proactive and collaborative mindset for working with various internal departments.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
