The Role:
This pivotal role is responsible for amplifying the Formula E brand, cultivating passionate global fandom and driving significant brand awareness through bold, creative and culturally relevant communications and activations. The ideal candidate is a relentless optimist, a creative force and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit focused on generating massive noise and earned media.
Strategic Brand Amplification & Cultural Hijacking: You will be the force behind a comprehensive brand amplification strategy, focused on leveraging cultural moments and broader events to elevate Formula E's visibility beyond the traditional motorsport space. Staying close to cultural trends and developing creative activation and communication plans to authentically integrate Formula E.
Campaign Development & Media Relations: You will lead the development and execution of bold and innovative brand amplification campaigns designed to break through the motorsport echo chamber. Creating and nurturing strong relationships with lifestyle, entertainment, music and fashion media to secure impactful coverage and ensure maximum visibility for the brand.
Driver Profiling & Relationship Building: Working closely with colleagues, Teams and Drivers, to identify and cultivate opportunities that showcase driver personalities. Building deeper emotional connections with audiences, making our drivers cultural movers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Formula E Teams, Drivers, Partners and key media/influencers in the lifestyle, entertainment, music and fashion sectors.
Performance & Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will define and track key metrics to measure the success of brand amplification initiatives, reflecting, optimising and sharing learnings. Success in this role requires seamless cross-functional collaboration with colleagues across the Marketing group and internal teams to execute plans efficiently.
What we're looking for in you:
Brand Amplification & Earned Media Expertise: Candidates must have significant experience in brand marketing or communications, with a proven track record of developing and executing impactful, noise-generating campaigns. You should have demonstrable experience growing a brand and audience through insight-driven marketing and a strong earned media strategy.
Cultural Acumen & Creativity: A deep understanding of the cultural landscape is essential, including trends in music, fashion, entertainment and emerging digital platforms. This role requires exceptional creativity and a proven ability to develop "out-of-the-box" ideas that consistently generate significant earned media attention and reach new audiences in compelling ways.
Communication & Relationship Building: You must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling communication materials. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills are critical for building trust and rapport with high-profile individuals (athletes, celebrities) and key media/influencer contacts.
Personal Drive & Entrepreneurial Spirit: The ideal candidate is a proactive, energetic and highly positive individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a "make it happen" mentality. You must be brave, willing to take calculated risks and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. A genuine passion for popular culture and an understanding of/enthusiasm for sport are highly desired.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
