The Role:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for live events and a talent for driving revenue? We are looking for a proactive, commercially-minded and ultra-organised Ticketing Sales Manager to join the Formula E team.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the operational success of our Ticketing and Hospitality functions. You will sit at the heart of our Commercial team, working with a complex network of global stakeholders to execute a best-in-class ticketing strategy. This is a high-impact position for someone who loves building efficient processes, championing best practices and ensuring a seamless experience for our fans across the globe. This role is based at our London HQ and involves international travel to our race locations.
Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth: You will be responsible for maximising revenue and venue occupancy. You will build comprehensive "Race Plans" and work closely with external race promoters to understand and enhance their local sales processes. By maintaining a bird’s-eye view of global inventory, you will ensure we are always aware of what is on sale, where and at what price point to optimise every opportunity.
Operational Excellence & Platform Management: You will take full ownership of the Formula E ticketing platform, from the initial creation of events and products to driving continuous improvements in the digital sales journey. You will lead the end-to-end ticketing process, which includes overseeing the design of physical and E-tickets, collating "live" sales reports and ensuring all documentation within the ticketing ecosystem is accurate and distributed on time.
Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration: Success in this role relies on building and maintaining strong relationships with key Ticketing and Hospitality agencies. You will act as the central link between local promotions and our global marketing and communications teams, ensuring that every event receives the support it needs to thrive. You will also be the "go-to" person for sharing ideas and championing best practices across the commercial landscape.
On-Site Race Leadership: When the lights go out on race day, you are there to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will attend races as required to lead on-site ticketing operations, managing live challenges and ensuring that the fan experience at the gates matches the high standards of our championship.
What we're looking for in you:
The Commercial Strategist: You have a proven track record in ticketing operations and sales, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry. You are analytical by nature, able to recognise potential problems before they arise and turn data-driven insights into revenue-generating opportunities. You are comfortable managing "live" inventory and thrive on the challenge of filling world-class venues.
The Proactive Problem Solver: You are a "go-getter" who isn't afraid to dive into complex problems. You possess a high level of creativity and innovation, always looking for ways to streamline processes and improve the sales journey. You are resilient, able to work under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously without losing sight of the details.
The Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You can communicate "Race Plans" and updates speedily and accurately to diverse stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned. You are a team player who can build rapport quickly with external agencies and internal departments alike, ensuring global marketing efforts are perfectly synced with local sales needs.
