The Role:

Are you a part-qualified accounting professional with a sharp eye for international compliance and a talent for streamlining financial operations? We are looking for a Management Accountant with Accounts Payable experience to join our team on a maternity cover.

This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role that bridges the gap between high-volume transactional leadership and technical management accounting. Reporting to the Accounting and Tax Director, you will take ownership of our global accounts payable function while supporting critical month-end activities and a major systems transition.

• Accounts Payable Leadership: You will be the driving force behind our AP function, overseeing the end-to-end process from international invoice posting to regular payment runs. You’ll act as a mentor and guide to our AP Assistant, ensuring our shared mailbox is managed efficiently and supplier relationships remain gold-standard.

• International Accounting & Tax Compliance: This isn't just about paying bills; it’s about technical accuracy. You will manage VAT reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions and partner with local tax advisors to ensure we remain compliant globally. You’ll also play a key role in preparing data for our foreign accounting teams to produce accurate local management accounts.

• Systems Evolution (SAP to Workday): We are currently in a period of digital transformation. You will provide vital financial assistance during our transition from SAP to Workday, helping the team navigate the migration and ensuring our accounting IT systems support our long-term growth.

What we're looking for in you:

• The Technical Specialist: You are a partially qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record in a complex, international AP environment. You understand the nuances of various tax jurisdictions and possess the "big picture" financial literacy required to support management accounts.

• The Systems-Savvy Navigator: You are comfortable with enterprise-level ERPs. While experience with Workday is a significant advantage, your ability to adapt to new IT landscapes and support a team through a system migration is what truly sets you apart.

• The Adaptable Problem Solver: You thrive in a "hands-on" environment where no two days are the same. Whether you are performing meticulous VAT reconciliations or jumping into ad-hoc finance projects, you bring a positive, solution-oriented mindset to every task.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
