The Role:
Are you a high-impact finance leader ready to bridge the gap between technical rigour and global strategy? Formula E is looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to join our team at the heart of the world’s most innovative racing series. This isn’t a role for a traditional "number cruncher"; it is a high-visibility leadership position where you will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing the forward-looking insights that drive our global growth.
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will be the strategic architect of our long-range financial planning. As we charge toward the Gen4 era, you will move beyond variance reporting to translate complex operational data into actionable intelligence, ensuring Formula E remains as efficient as it is electrifying.
Strategic Planning & Long-Range Command: You own the financial roadmap. You will lead the annual Long Range Planning (LRP) process, setting financial targets alongside mission-critical KPI metrics. You don’t just track the budget; you manage the corporate budgeting process (both rolling and annual) to ensure our financial engine is optimised for the long-term race.
Sophisticated Modeling & Decision Support: You are the master of "what-if." You will develop sophisticated financial models to support high-stakes scenario planning and investment decisions. By understanding both macro and microeconomic impacts on our "Team Economics," you provide the clarity senior leadership needs to make bold moves in a rapidly evolving market.
Business Partnering & Process Evolution: You are a collaborator and a catalyst for change. You will partner with executive stakeholders across the organisation to provide guidance, challenge assumptions and improve profitability. Simultaneously, you will lead the charge on automation and process improvement, turning manual reporting into a streamlined, tech-driven operation that delivers excellence to our Board and Shareholders.
What we're looking for in you:
The FP&A Specialist: You possess proven experience in corporate FP&A, financial modeling and strategic analysis. You have a rock-solid understanding of accounting principles and the technical skill to navigate complex data. Ideally, you are a qualified or nearly-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or ACA) with a deep understanding of business drivers and the ability to link financial results to operational performance.
The Strategic "Trusted Advisor": You thrive in high-demand, fast-paced environments. You possess the "willingness and energy" to challenge current business thinking and drive the organisation forward. You are a proactive problem solver who can identify and prevent reporting hurdles before they arise, maintaining professional poise when the stakes are high.
The Elite Communicator: You are a master of data interpretation. You can take complex financial datasets and translate them into clear, compelling narratives for non-finance business partners and C-suite executives. Whether you are presenting to the Board or collaborating with international stakeholders, your communication is impeccable and your influence is felt.
The Influential Leader: You possess a confident, adaptable presence and previous experience in team management. You enjoy the prospect of working in a busy, multi-activity office and have the cultural intelligence to work across our diverse race locations. Ready to embrace the Formula E lifestyle, you are prepared to travel internationally to ensure our financial strategy is executed flawlessly on the global stage.
What's in it for you?
25 days' annual leave, Birthday day off and Wellbeing leave
Opportunity to extend your stay if travelling for a race event
Health Cash Plan and access to the Aviva Digital Workplace app
Enhanced Parental Leave
Flexible Bank Holidays
Paid volunteer and carer's leave
