Are you a high-octane commercial "hunter" ready to drive the future of motorsport in one of the world's most dynamic cities? We are looking for an In-Market Sales Manager to serve as the primary commercial engine and brand guardian for Formula E in Berlin. This isn't just a sales position; it is a mission-critical role where you will bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution, ensuring the Berlin E-Prix is a sold-out, commercial powerhouse event.
You will balance revenue generation with strategic brand management, ensuring that while the world watches the race, the local market is fully integrated, invested and inspired.
Revenue Generation & Pipeline Command: You own the local bottom line. Your mission is to achieve 100% of assigned revenue targets by identifying and securing commercial opportunities outside of our global partner ecosystem. From the proactive sale of premium Race Suites and B2B ticketing bundles to securing local sponsorship inventory, you are responsible for the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation to the final handshake.
Brand Amplification & Market Insight: You are the conduit between our Global Marketing team and the Berlin market. You will ensure our global campaigns resonate with German cultural nuances. Whether you are speaking at industry forums, launching ticket sales, or hosting fan watch-alongs, you serve as a high-profile brand ambassador, providing real-time market insights that shape our digital and promotional strategies.
Strategic Stakeholder & Logistics Synergy: You are the vital link between Formula E’s global headquarters and Berlin’s local service providers. You will immerse yourself in understanding and navigating the complexities of venue logistics, hospitality fit-out agencies and ticketing platforms. By working closely with Global Account Managers, you ensure that every local activation aligns perfectly with our global partnership standards, delivering a seamless experience that builds fans and partners for seasons to come.
What we're looking for in you:
The "Hunter" Sales Expert: You possess a proven track record in B2B sales, hospitality or commercial partnerships within the sports, entertainment or luxury sectors. You have a relentless drive to close deals and an existing network of high-level corporate contacts within Berlin. You don't just wait for leads; you create them.
The Cultural Navigator: You are a master of German business etiquette with native or business-level fluency in German and excellent professional English. You possess the "cultural intelligence" to maintain Formula E’s global prestige while ensuring every proposal and activation feels authentically local and tailored to the Berlin market.
The Operational Strategist: You have the agility to switch between high-level commercial negotiation and hands-on operational problem-solving. You are experienced in managing third-party agencies and navigating the logistical pressures of large-scale international events.
The Resilient Entrepreneur: You treat the Berlin market as your own business. You thrive in the high-pressure environment of a race-week countdown and possess the "persuasive communicator" skills to tell the story of the future of motorsport. You are self-motivated, highly organised and ready to take full ownership of the Berlin E-Prix’s commercial success.
